Change
His brown eyes,
Enchant you.
His full lips,
Intrigue you.
His messy hair,
Annoys you.
His pierced ear,
Fascinates you.
But him,
You love.
And ever since,
He chose to love you back,
For some reason,
You think you’re better than me.
What is it?
Is it his hair?
The way, when you run your fingers through it,
He melts in your hand.
Or his smile,
When you say something,
Only he understands.
Maybe it’s his eyes,
They crinkle in just the right way,
When he sees you waking towards him.
It could be the fact,
That he wears your favorite,
Earring on dates.
Whatever it is,
Remember that I’m the one,
Who always made you laugh,
Before him.
I’m the one,
Who always listened,
To all of your problems.
I’m the one,
Who never gave up on you.
I’m the one,
Who held you up,
At parties when you were out of you mind drunk.
I’m the one,
Who told you, you were beautiful,
Even on days that you weren't.
Did you forget all of that?
Or do you no longer care,
About me,
And what used to be,
A beautiful friendship.
