From the John Hancock Observatory
Stop little ones!
There’s more to life
Than a ticking clock!
The little bugs carry on their lives
Far, far below us.
Salutations, your majesties!
I respect and thank the shade
You provide to the bugs below.
The majestic mammoths roll on by,
Their white whisps cooling the skies.
My oh my,
The earth looks wide.
Turn on, great one!
She heeds me, yes,
But did she hear me?
Zippity zap, you are fast!
No need for the speed
My elevator friend.
But he did not hear my call.
So now I’m a bug, just like them all.
