I Am None
I am no carnivore, for I do not devour,
No sea dweller, no fish, no water,
Bright sounds and dark rocks, the air is thick,
There are no other creatures, I am but one far from the others,
I do not compete for the mud,
In these desert dunes the sun is an anomaly,
It gives hope,
I can see a fellow devoured life,
Am I not alone?
Is there a chance to prosper?
Oh the sun such an irony,
there suddenly is a feel of water, life and rest,
I can now take a breath,
