Alcoholics
There's wine in my eyes
And it's kept you drunk
Because for every time you've questioned
Why you're here
I poured you a drink.
And I'm not entirely sober
Because I'm intoxicated by your lips
They taste like the champagne
I snuck the New Year's Eve
That I wished for you on an eyelash
And I'm not sure that it's entirely fair
That you're only here because of magic.
And I do realize that we've been
On a two year bender
And even though I swore off
Anything that would confuse my perception
I'm just so addicted
To feeling weighed down
So I think I'll take
Another sip.
