He Is a Nightmare
Middle of nowhere
Swings sway in the wind
Push me, love. Please!
High, high, higher each time
Hair blowing back
Legs pumping
Hold tight to cold chains
Mouth open
Laughing with joy, eager excitement.

My arms around him now.
Wind still blowing, softly now
Now we sway
The wind is our music,
Our song. My love. My darling.
I wake, startled, crying, choking, sobbing, a cold sweat on my back.
It was a nightmare...
