Its spring time
Crops, ready to go in the ground
Tillage is on hold
Bags of seed are bought and piled in the corner of the shed
The ground is still froze
Waiting… waiting… waiting

Now it’s summer time
Hay needs to be cut
It is raining
We wait, we wait, and we wait

Its fall now
It’s harvest time
The corn and the soy beans
Weather isn’t permitting
Winter is soon approaching
Need feed for winter
So we wait.

Its winter
We worry about having enough feed to make it through.
Spring is coming
Running low on feed
It’s a wait till the end to see if we’ll make it.
