The time vanished
As the words
Swiftly left your lips
And your fears wrap like cords
All around you
The fears are inside
And now you have
Nowhere to hide
As the words evaporate
Left without a trace
And you know now
You will never win this race
And as the tears fall
Your eyes cloud up
As if you've won the battle
But it's never enough

The author's comments:
I wrote this in my English class at the beginning of the class. I guess it was inspired by my life a bit, because no matter how many battles I have, its never truly enough to set me free from my fears.
