What is love?
Is it love when your heart goes
Boom Boom
Or when you feel butterflies in your stomach?
The goose bumps you get on your arms
Looking like chicken skin
Or could it be the midnight
Cute phone calls?
What about the million text messages
With a smiley face at the end?
Could love be the terrible feeling you get
When you miss someone so badly?
Is love the tears that run
Down my cheeks because of your actions?
I don’t know what love is
But can you promise to show me real love.
