The Snip Snap

Sauntering ‘round the goop gap
I encountered the malevolent snip snap
Slinking, blinking, sinking into the dark
Advancing, I saw it attack a defenseless doodler
With its jaw’s wide, it quickly became acquainted
With the snip snap’s cavernous mouth
But as I crept behind
I stepped on a crunchy quiggle
Alerting my presence
To the blood hungry snip snap
The snip snap swung ‘round
He was determined to have a second course
Fast as I ran and hard as I tried,
I was soon swallowed with unnecessary force
