Frienimies
So I said the words that I needed to be said.
The ones neither of us would say,
But were both thinking.
The words that should have fixed things,
But instead crushed all our dreams.
But I said those vital words.
I tried to fix everything.
But I've never been good with words,
You know that all to well.
They came out wrong,
Just like every other words I've
ever said.
I broke everything to bits and
pieces,
To small for any eyes to see.
Inside was a mix of emotions,
Both good and bad feelings.
For I had sad those vital words,
But risked it all.
And yet we see each other once again.
The broken pieces have been swept away.
And somehow we are whole again.
Or so it seems.
We know we are still fragile,
and we are ever so careful,
For we never forget the broken
pieces from that day.
