Dust to Dust
one day no one will remember us
and our bones will just be dust,
and our lives will just be sad songs,
and our kids will sing them all wrong,
and our pictures will be dying memories,
and our voices will fade away telling stories,
and we will rot in the dirt while our coffins rust,
waiting for a visitor who remembers us.
