Shake
Everyone around her is asking for it
And she’ll write about it so she understands
That they’re not all going to want what’s good
Because it’s not what’s most exciting
They want to feel their hands shake
And they want the mass affect, and we ask ourselves
Why? But they make things the way they are
We did not come connected
And she knows they’ve all come with questions
They can only dig their hands into the ground
But it will be too deep to satisfy
That constant hunger, they snap at her
Feed me
Feed me
Feed me lies
Feed me constant lullabies
They want what’s wrong; they’ll ask what’s right
And she’s not there to catch those who trip themselves
And she doesn’t want to see them fall
When they find things at they’re worst,
When things are hitting the ground that they walk on
Is when they’re asked to pick things up
But they don’t want to make things better
And she’ll never understand
