Drift
No creeping light shines through
The curtains that have blinded me
Repelling all that unwanted light away
But have I tried to stay true?
Happiness is never free
Drop to our knees, time to pray
Can't find myself beneath the surface tension
Solace finds me in due time
Without a rhyme or reason
But I'm a shadow I forgot to mention
That solace was really isolation in disguise
In my head it's always raining every season
My heart is weighing rather heavy
Heavy......heavy
Until I am no more
I guess that's just what happens
When you let your heart drift
Too far from shore
