It will never be mine
Roses are red, violets are blue, it keeps running through my mind, and I don’t know what to do, every time I see its face my heart quickly begins to race, and in that moment nothing matters, not work, not problems nor even time or space, but soon after I begin to fret for i'm not sure if it even notices yet, should I hint, should I wink, should I tell it what I really think? I have found myself starstruck, and there’s nothing that I can do I just wish I could tell her that the it that is always on my mind is only really you.
