Darkened Windows, Kissing Widows
Private words
Twist and turn
I burn
I yearn
You don't learn
I hide what I earn
Behind layers of fur
Things got so cold, icy, polar
The world is a mess, a blur
My lips, my lungs, my thoughts turn sour
I wish you wanted me in my darkest hour
I'm shriveled wilting like a flower
Calling out, from the corner in which I cower
I don't care, lie, remain tall like a tower
It seems as though the rain it showers
But I grow I show I have more power
Private words
Twist and turn
I burn I yearn
But you don't learn
