Crètin
Could it be so flawless?
A malicious fantasy in disguise,
Concealed beneath a smirk and glossy eyes.
That tepid breath down my neck,
Transforms to a chill that becomes entwined
In my veins and throughout my being,
That once gentle hand grows tighter in its cling.
This pleasant intention becomes a ruthless endeavor,
So ensues a fight for release from our forever.
Clambering away from my sense of secure,
That striking vision proves a yearning lure.
With a palm that caresses the form of my face,
And a warm welcome contained in his embrace.
A delusion this can no longer claim to be,
As now I have been awoken from my trance,
To an affection that stands on its own;
That truly longs for its chance.
