City lights
I want someone to take me to the place where the buildings glow, in a car that no one really knows the name of, playing music that no one bothers to look up the lyrics to. I wanna sit in the passenger seat of a car, looking forward to spending time with people I have yet to meet. I want the driver to be someone I barely know, but love with everything I have. I want to drone on about everything, but have it mean nothing. To drink, and smoke like the teenagers in trashy hip-hop videos. To forget about yesterday and tomorrow. I want to feel like the universe is mine and that I could just erase problems like a dark smudge on a whiteboard. Give me a temporary forever.
