There is a light
in you.
That shines through,
When you speak,
When you look at me.
There is a brightness
In you,
That seems to see through
Hate
And suffering
And pain.
A brightness
That seems to see through
Me.
There is an undying beauty
About you,
That I wish to keep for myself.
No matter how selfish that may be.
But I do hope,
For your sake.
That you find someone who sees it,
And makes you happy,
In a way I never could.
