March's Winter
March's winter's emotionally cold,
leaves sparkling cullets on the ground,
and shadows dancin' 'round.
Tears apart what was once whole.
Freezes all our emotions.
Expels all of our hope.
One question's around:
How to cope?
And the starlight cuts sharply,
just as a knife.
In a starlit, cold,
cloudless night.
Otherwise you can see clouds hangin'
like faded gray curtains in the skies.
Smoke from chimneys joining them
One question things're revolving 'round: Why?
You can see snow
fallin' down 'n' rushin' by.
You know something that did the same thing:
Your life.
