A New Generation
We're living in a generation of kids who think 3 months makes something antique.
A generation of kids who'd rather text than speak.
Where kids call each other names meaner than freak.
A generation where middle school girls wear more make-up than their moms.
And a quarter of high schoolers don't care about prom.
A generation of youngings who think they are in love.
A fight comes around and push turns to shove.
And one walks away and they don't even have a reason.
See they're at a stage where they're changing like the seasons.
A generation where kids don't do homework, they do drugs.
Where kids say,"Screw doctors! Let's be thugs!"
Where kids try to get into trouble.
Then they talk back so it becomes double.
The teachers won't admit it, but they stopped trying.
Parents won't admit it,but on their kids they've been spying.
Our country won't admit it, but half the things they say they've been lying.
Our biggest fear of today should be all the kids dying.
Things change in new generations.
