The Strangest Peace
It's odd, the feeling you get when you face your greatest fears.
Whether it be height, darkness, or even death
a sense of peace washes over you when you look fear in the eyes and say enough.
You should be petrified, and maybe some part of you is.
But there is a disconnect.
You are no longer bound by that fear, no longer clenched in it's choking grip.
You are above it, floating with a feeling that can only be described as peace.
And the strangest of peace it is.
