Traveling Lights
When stars turn down their wondrous gaze,
The lights above us are a maze!
And when those lights above us bright,
The light within us comes out right!
With talent and with graceful pair,
We will travel fast through desert plain.
“Don’t Worry,” are the words well said,
As you and I are poked with “blades”!
Whether you or me understand or not,
The light of the past will soon catch up.
The world will start to turn around,
As the girl learns to pitch its sound.
Skies that turn with deep blue green,
Never wonder what they’ve seen.
As if the heart has been revealed,
Full of bloom and wondrous gleam.
“What helps the girl burn with fear,”
Asks a man with a scream.
No matter how far we can run,
The light will soon catch up to us.
The earth will turn three times more,
If we continue our ways to live so sore.
Twice we made the same mistake,
But we don’t change our stupid ways.
So the light continues softly throughout the day!
Fire shall burn the most important part of the heart,
As the girl enters the dark ground.
Only a song in her head to guide the lost souls,
So she changes her ways for many more.
The many more shall survive with great names,
And the girl shall live far far away.
To one another they say good-bye,
As their mothers sing the light lullaby!
