Your face is right in front of mine,
yet you are so far away.
Your setting is tropical.
Mine is a cold winter.
Your dark skin glows.
Your grin never leaves your face.
You are warm inside.
Light.
You walk on air,
and you go like a surfer.
I stare at you and reach out,
but you are not tangible.
You are 6,000 miles away.
And I sit here,
cold.
Watching you through the screen.
Do we ever watch each other through the screen?
