Be a Friend
Look through my eyes
Like glass windows
What do you see
A bright open field
Sun rays shining all around
Or a cold dark forest
Chilled wind blowing against the
empty branches
Do you see a busy market
Bursting with joy and laughter
Or do you see a lone boy
Sitting in the corner
Crying to himself pleading for happiness
Do you see a few clouds hanging over the beach
Like giant pieces of cotton candy
Or do you see a gray sky
Lighting flashing through the air
Thunder exploding like bombs
Look into my eyes
Find the true me
A understand
That you cannot judge a book
By its cover
We are all different
You may never know what someone else is going through
One word can change a life
One act of kindness
Make someones day
Compliment them
Or just be there for them
Be a friend
