Feeding
On guilt
It creeps
And seeps
Deep.
Into
The crevices
Of an idle mind
That cannot speak truth to itself
Only lies.
Lacking esteem.
Lacking faith.
Lacking the hope one needs in order
To escape.
This cage is my home.
These shackles, my life.
And though it sounds odd,
Loneliness is my delight.
Depression exists
Only in feeble minds.
Feeding
On guilt
It creeps
And seeps
Deep.
And never dies.
