Where I Stand
I weave in and out
Of desperation
Of hope
Of cleverly designed facades
I keep my head down
Trying to block out
Snippets of mindless conversation
Trying to block out
The fact that I don't belong
The fact that no one belongs
I console myself with the fact
That at least I know up from down
Wrong from right
I'm willing to admit
That I know I'm alone
But I'm also willing to admit
I'm not the only one
And in these hallways,
Although I'm a lone wolf
At least I k now where I stand.
