The Never Ending Ritual
You look at me,
I look up at you
You walk away
I follow threw
The same ritual everyday
Do I ever get to talk to you?
Your messy hair
And blue eyes
I feel there is something underneath
But our ritual of looking
Takes time up
From understanding you
Maybe if I look deeper
Into those crystal eyes of blue
And that small smile the creeps onto your face
Whenever I’m in the room
But the never ending ritual
Of letting our eyes speak
Takes up the opportunity
And courage I have
To start a conversation
Rituals come to an end
And so do we.
