The Joy Of Loss.
Gentle eyes, whispers unheard.
Silent tears, emotions stirred.
Those who leave, seldom return.
But, our lonely hearts, wordlessly yearn,
for love, for joy,
for just one touch.
For affection, for that emotional rush.
To say goodbye, is a sorry thing.
Nothing to comfort you, no joy to bring.
Love is lost, emotions fade.
But let me ask you, would you trade?
The hurt you feel, for a pain free life.
Will your strength hold up, your joy survive?
For the pain you feel is bitter-sweet.
Too precious to lose, too hard to beat.
