The lies

We all knew this would happen
It came all to soon
I'd rather not stay here,
But I want to save you
If this weren't enough
I had to disguise
My burning love for you
With all of these lies.
You tell me to live
The voices say die
I wan to avoid
The pain in your eyes.
Kill this pain
I want it to end
And to be with you,
So I feel home again.
Trust my love,
Or else I might break
I can't just lose you;
Our lives are at steak!
I can't forget
The memories of the pas
Or all the lies
And the shadows we've cast
