My Bestfriend

I thought she was my best friend
The best I ever had
We told each other every thing
The day I knew the truth
I was shocked to learn it was all a lie
It was sad but yet true
We were not best friends anymore or like sisters
We use to call each other best friend
But now I know we are far apart
Though we see each other every day
We were talking less and less
I had a broken heart
She had friends so did I
But they were not a best friend
Inside me I felt lonely and sad
Every night I prayed to god
For us to be best friends again
And for her to know how much she means to me

It sounds exactly like speech! Your writing is very powerful and understandable, but astoundingly maintains a poetic complexity and feel.

was truly touched and moved by the words and images placed in my head. You have talent and each lined swayed beautifully. I was about to stop reading because it was long, but I couldn't I had to know what happened. Good work!
