October 31st
The night is young
Orange leaves pop like firecrackers
Tree’s branches are drooped with sadness
Winds rustle the leaves
The bright cold moon shown above
Grass is pricking my feet
The smell of rain rolled across the field
I taste the cold rain from the sky
A hard silence fills the air
The sun has set
Everything comes alive with silence
The silence, a moment? A lifetime?
I have stayed here too long
This night is All Hallows Eve
The leaves have no color
The leaf, it hangs on as long as it can
I take flight away from the field
I fly back to my home by myself
