Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain.

I miss summer.
That luscious green.
The laughter trilling around in the breeze.
Water. Wet. Sweat. Work.
Miles and miles of road to go.
A boy on the other end of a text message conversation.
Will he ever know how I feel about him?
No time like the present.
Rejected and alone again.
Thank God it’s winter.

I really love some of the images you have here. "laughter trilling around in the breeze" and "a boy on the other end of  text message conversation", lovely images. They really call to mind a nostalgic and whistful tone. Well done. Great poem, short and sweet :)
