Refreshing rays glow onto tan pigment.
Warm sand clings
With a cozy grasp.
White foam laps
Onto smooth shore,
The only noise.
A cool breeze
Blows through salty locks,
Chills a sun kissed face.
Mind chiming with tranquil melodies,
Bubbling cola tickling the tongue,
Toes curling deep into the warmth.
Squinting, dosing off,
Fireworks on the back of eyelids.
Mid-afternoon nap
