Drowning
in a world
where they say I'm fine,
but I know what I
DID
And then the spoken words
too late to take them back
You laugh at me
I can't stand
YOU
Certain memories
have scarred my past
Remember that time when...?
or did you
FORGET
Happy, sad, cheerful, mad
Every cell and every detail
things that do and don't hurt
are what consists of
ME
So many promises I made
that make me hide
not ready to leave though
I haven't gotten there
YET
When it's the end
and we all give up
Will you be the one
to help my soul
?
