A love letter: from feet to the rest of the body MAG
They said you would always be dragging me down and around.
And sometimes it hurts to be underneath you.
But if loving you means to hold you up,
then I'll always be your support,
because you have a way of keeping me on my toes,
no matter how many cracks,
blisters,
and calluses may ensue.
I want you to know that every time you fall, I'll be the force to stop you.
No matter how many miles walked,
stones kicked,
jumping jacks,
or dance steps perfected,
I'll already be ready for a brand new day.
After all,
it's my job to keep you moving,
no matter what that means.
Guaranteeing that sometimes I have to get dirty now and then.
Because life is a game played head to toe,
and you have a way of keeping me balanced.
Even if I trip,
stumble,
or get caught up in myself.
After all,
I am head over heels for you.
