The Last Time
October 22, 2012
And now it's finally time
To write the one last poem
To finally have enough
Enough truth to show
To show what I do feel
Nothing but what is
Just raw
Just fear
Fear for loss
Fear that we may succeed
Fear that you and I are
Are we
We did
And will try to
I want to
You do
We are now us
Us is what keeps the strength
But what will it do
It being the monster
The impertinent monster know as time
That which wedges into each and every crack
Every crevice and corner
And changes the outlook
Will it
I want it not
It should only improve
In time we shall see
