Death Day Ball
Night time falls
As the full moon rose
And cobwebs grow
On my hallway stairs
Trick or treat!
Time to die!
Said the monster
At my door
A child’s call
To his dearest friends
They laugh and enjoy
The day of the dead
Time has come
For the dark song
Time to dance
At deaths masquerade
The smell was foul
Rot and decay
As bodies rose
To dance again today
Red of blood
Yellows rot
Purple vials
Green trails
I stand at the door
Drip, drip, drip
Went the blood
From my smile
As I stand and invite
Thy guests to my home
For the death day
Ball
