You love me
Just like I always asked of you
But you can't see
I love you too
You love everyone like a brother
And never turn away a strange face
You remind me of someone closer
With that same smile
I don't think of you
As anyone other than yourself
I thought that's all you wanted
I know it is.
So when autumn comes
and the leaves roll off their trees
Can you guarantee me
A place in your heart
Every time?
Just like the breeze does
As it always returns
After night.
