Hey there, darling.
Don’t be mad at me, please.
I’m just sitting here, trying
to enjoy this lovely breeze.

I don’t want to make any decisions
or think about you and me.
I’d rather not make revisions
on what we’re trying to be.

Shh, don’t question it -
Enjoy the silence of peace.
Just let me have a little bit
of time before we must leave.

Later, we can deal with life
and all the problems that we have.
But for now, we can embrace the light
and share a smile or a laugh.
