White, Black, Blue, and Red
An endless game my mind does play
It goes on and on all day
White and black and red and blue
Arguing colours that I rue
White is nice but so is black
Red and blue are for fighting back
White offers nothing but a shining star
Black promises all the things that aren’t so far
Red to burn my foes, scorch with hate
Blue goes to drown them, using time to wait
And in me I hear all these
Buzzing like crazy bumblebees
And so I hide inside my head
Away from white, black, blue, and red
But I couldn’t just answer “I don’t know!”
I’ll just hide here with yellow.
