So turned around,
Don’t know up from down.
And I’m just trying,
To keep from dying.
No hope in sight,
Just please,
One more bite.
Just to break this numbness,
Clouding my vision.
Remind myself I’m alive,
Just this once,
Please don’t try.
Leave me be,
With my shrinking pride.
