Life is the sea.
Depression is
the undertow that pulls me
into nothingness.
It is unforgiving.
It is cruel.
It is dark.
It is lonely.
Love is the sun.
It once warmed my soul.
It once made me smile.
But I am too far down.
I can't see it.
So I no longer believe
