You promise to listen when I talk
You promise to hold me when I cry
You promise to be strong when I am weak
You promise to be there when I need you

You promise to give me space I want it
You promise to never let me be scared
You promise that I can trust you
You promise to be my best friend
You promise to accept me for who I am

Beautiful stuff- suggest you edit the lines that end in "I" (personal pronoun)- just move the I to th next line ex.: when/ I talk- puts more emphisis, combines doer and action, and just sounds better. Your writing is brilliant- hope your summer is full of fun!!
