For every question you posed
Every fact you mulled over
Looking down your long nose
If I had a nickel
For every sneer that you wore
Every scoff that you uttered
Discounting thoughts as I swore
If I had a nickel
For every lie that you told
Every fib that you harnessed
To keep the world in your hold
I'd be a very poor man
Yes, I truly would
Not a nickel to my name
I've never met someone so good
