Wishing you would listen,
not to words,
but to a beat.
A steady rhyme of,
a twisted tale.
Full of,
desires, wishes, longings and needs.
If you were to listen,
to my words,
You wouldn't ever learn,
how I truly feel.
But,
If you were to hear the beat,
the rhythm of my heart,
you would know,
what it is really like,
to feel,
what I used to,
feel,
and almost still do,
for you.
Wishing you would listen,
not to words,
but a beat.
