Wont Pretend
Were dating
For awhile now
Were perfect
For each other at least
But were different
Others don’t see us the same way
Even in public I think of us like we don’t belong
Your friends invite me to things
But only cause I’m your girlfriend
They don’t even invite me themselves.
They didn’t even know I exist
And they still try to pretend I don’t.
You try to push me into them
But I don’t want to be somewhere not wanted
My friends accept you
I’m sorry I’m not good enough
But I’m not going to pretend I am
I wont pretend I fit in when I don’t
That’s not who I am
I don’t live by a lie
I just cry
