Straight Jacket
Can you hear me?
Can you hear me screaming?
I'm screaming at the top of my lungs... Praying
Praying that someone will hear me
Praying someone will save me
But I'm stuck here
Stuck in this place
Hugging myself tight
Nowhere to go but the corner of this tiny room
Just know I may have tried everything
No one is convinced
They all think they know that I am crazy
But really I'm only stuck
Only stuck in my today's tomorrow's today's yesterday's forever
Does that sound crazy? How about insane?
No?
But I'm still stuck here
Stuck in this place
This truly terrible place
Still hugging myself tight
Nowhere to go but the corner of this itty bitty room
I'm all alone
Stuck on my own
Hugging myself tight
Holding onto all I've got left
As I watch you, watch you walk away again
And again... And again
I'm filled up with my insanity
Filled to the brim, I've spilled over
But can you hear me?
You can't hear me
As I scream out for you
Trapped in this not home
In my straight jacket
I know I'm not crazy
But I know I am
