Syria: It's Suffering
The oppression and injustice were unbearable
The want for revenge was evadable
They cried and they wept but they found no mercy
As to who committed these crimes there is no controversy
So they cried out freedom in peace and benevolence
Yet their enemy responded with lies and violence
Their souls battered and their bodies spent
They knew the regime would never repent
So what emerged from the ruthless butchers?
A legendary band of selfless defectors
To protect their people an oath was sworn
And a thus an national army was to form
Be proud again of Syria’s army you may
For they called themselves the FSA
_____________________________________________________
They killed, they raped. The nation’s dignity undone
They have no right, they have no shame. The backlash has begun
Freedom was cursed and its demanders thrown in jail
But the people’s will shall always prevail
They shall never see their land again
For they have already been condemned
Condemned of murder and torture
Found guilty of bloodshed and slaughter
