Fallen Angel
You are my angel sent from heaven
The most beautiful thing I've ever seen
With your broken wings
You can no longer fly to the clouds and sing away.
You're forced to breath in the evil smell of dying love,
And it engulfs your fragile head,
But you are still surrounded by your golden hue;
Pure and innocent,
Modest and forgiving.
You take on the weight of the world
That broke your heavenly wings
So you can no longer fly away from the cries and pleas harming your precious ears.
Your soft rose petal lips seal unspoken words inside you.
You climb up to the battered cliff,
In the middle of a raging storm
And beg God to heal your broken wings,
So you no longer have to suffer this unnecessary pain.
