Sea Days
Within the sky and the sand she lays
Reflecting tranquility above and gaining wisdom from the rough rocks below
She revives childhood memories lost at sea
Her deep blue layers shelter the living beings beneath the surface
I stare mesmerized at her never ending waves
Reaching far back to the horizon and then coming towards me
The mountains rise up and seem indestructible, but the ocean’s fragile waves and mother nature’s calming ways leave me with relief
The imprints of my feet sink in another memory
The seashell I hold is the only evidence I have that she is with me
